Jonathon Pavlov

Jonathon Pavlov is a highly skilled real estate professional with deep expertise in ground-up development, investment strategy, and private equity. As a key member of Alta Development, he plays an integral role in the acquisition, financing, and execution of high-profile condominium, multifamily rental, and mixed-use projects. His responsibilities span the entire development lifecycle, including sourcing and assembling land, conducting investment underwriting and due diligence, structuring and securing debt and equity financing, and navigating complex legal and regulatory frameworks. He works closely with internal and external counsel, financial institutions, and capital partners to ensure the seamless execution of Alta’s strategic vision.

Before joining Alta, Jonathon was the Director of Asset Management at CGI Merchant Group, a Miami-based private equity firm focused on real estate investments. In this role, he oversaw a diverse portfolio of hospitality, office, and mixed-use assets, managing capital allocation, asset performance, and investment strategy to drive value creation. His experience at CGI provided him with deep insights into private equity fund structures, capital markets, and institutional real estate investment.

Prior to CGI, Jonathon gained extensive experience in commercial brokerage and asset management with The Easton Group and NAI Miami, where he was responsible for portfolio management, leasing, and transaction advisory across various asset classes.

Jonathon holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Real Estate from Florida International University (FIU) and a Master of Science in International Real Estate, specializing in real estate investment and private equity, from the FIU Hollo School of Real Estate. His multidisciplinary background in finance, development, and private equity enables him to navigate complex transactions and structure innovative investment strategies that drive long-term value.
