Marie DIaz

As Vice President of the Closings Department at Alta, Marie Diaz is responsible for overseeing the due diligence aspects of the purchase and finance transactions prior to closing. Her responsibilities include ensuring that the acquisitions, financing (including refinancing, construction, and permanent loans) and sell outs are completed in an expeditious and timely manner. Marie has served in that capacity for the past 15 years. Prior to joining ALTA, she has worked in the title and escrow industry for +35 plus years as a title agent, in the residential, multi-family and commercial industry.  Her primary background is in title examinations but has expanded her responsibilities to include oversight of personnel, production, and market penetration.  She was born in Cuba and emigrated to the United States as a little girl in the 70s.  She developed a sense of incredible work ethic early on as she needed to assist in providing for her family’s everyday needs.  Her goals and aspirations have always been to be the best version of herself that she can be. She strives to be an impressionable professional and works tirelessly to ensure a quick and smooth closing.
